Whether you accept it or not, the iPhone 6 is a big phone and the iPhone 6 Plus is even bigger. Not only that, the design of the device and the material kind of makes it slippery. With that being said, using the phone with one hand can prove to be difficult, especially when you’re trying to reach the top back button. If you have small hands like me, just forget about it. You’ll probably end up dropping your phone.
Halo Back is a screen protector that’s currently being funded on Kickstarter. It’s the world’s first smart screen protector. It’s that simple, it’s a screen protector, nothing more, nothing less.
Essentially, Halo Back adds an invisible back button, similar to the layout you would find on an Android phone. This is done by adding a circuit layer to the screen protector. The circuit layer passes current when the lower left corner of the phone is pressed.
The thing I love about it is that it’s the simplest solution to that dreadful iOS back button. The circuit layer adds something more than your average screen protector. It’s a smart screen protector that keeps it’s basic functions, to protect your screen. The added back button is a HUGE bonus.
The Kickstarter project has already surpassed it’s $20,000 goal by a long mile and it’s expecting to start shipping some time in August. Halo Back will go for $49 when it’s available to the public. Checkout their Kickstarter page for more information.
