To up the ante on their new device, Samsung went back to the drawing board and started from scratch with the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. The result: two beautifully crafted devices with beastly performance.
I’ve never owned a device from the Samsung Galaxy series because I hated (yes, I know it’s a strong word but, that’s actually how I felt) Samsung’s design and the cheap materials they used. However, after seeing the attention the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge have been getting, and after having hands on time with the two devices at the launch party here in Toronto, I decided to purchase the Galaxy S6 Edge. Using the device for the past two weeks has been amazing and I can tell you that this device is magnificent….90% of the time (you’ll see why).
Since technical specs have proven to be less and less important as the smartphone industry has evolved, for this review I will mostly talk about my experience while using this device. For those of you who need to know the specs before anything else, look at the charts below. If technical specs aren’t your thing, feel free to scroll over it all.
